One thing that I feel is very important is that we all support our local charities and organizations that help out when life gets a little difficult. I have an especially soft spot in my heart for animals and so my charity of choice is PAWS and the other animal rescue organizations in Lynnwood and Snohomish county.
Soon I will be announcing a new program where for every real estate transaction I close, a donation will be made to a local animal welfare organization. If you are an animal lover, this is your chance to help make a difference. Even if you aren't needing to buy or sell a home in 2008, you can refer your friends and help support the programs and organizations that take care of our animals.
Take a minute to visit the PAWS web site and take a look at the great work they do not just with our dogs and cats but local wildlife as well. I know not everyone can make a cash donation, but if you can that would be wonderful!
