There used to be a day when open houses, newspaper ads, postcards and cold calling is what it took to get homes sold, and that is what agents did.  These days, with the integration of the Internet with MLS listings, buyers can view all of the available listings in an area on their own.  This has changed the focus of what agents need to do to sell a home.  Now instead of marketing to buyers, agents need to focus less on selling and more on service!
