Jacqueline, great article. Do you ever advise people to simultaneously pursue multiple paths like requesting a loan mod while also pursuing a short sale? I had asked that question here:

and basically was told they’re mutually exclusive paths given that you would need to show a hardship to qualify for the short sale, but if you do so you likely won’t qualify for the loan mod (and vice versa).has that been your experience as well? can you comment on what you’ve learned?
