Sprouts Farmers Market is replacing Safeway in the Mill Creek Gateway Shopping Center
Since the Safeway in the Gateway Shopping Center closed around 3 years ago, the anchor spot has sat empty. Now there are signs of life again as Sprouts Farmer’s Market moves into the building.
The truth is I’m pretty excited about this as I’m a big fan of fresh, organic food that is still affordable and obviously so are other people as more organic type stores such as Whole Foods pop up and traditional stores add more and more organic options.
The Mill Creek Sprouts will be the first for the company in Washington state, a surprise to me as they already have about 300 other locations spread across the country.
Mill Creek shoppers will discover an abundant selection of fresh fruits and vegetables and barrels of wholesome grains, nuts and sweets in a bright, open store layout. Each store features an in-house butcher who prepares hand-crafted sausages daily and assists customers with special cuts of meat and seafood seasoning. Shoppers will also enjoy a variety of fresh and prepared deli items ideal for a grab-and-go lunch or dinner, a wide selection of freshly baked goods and craft beer and wine. The Vitamins and Body Care Department features more than 7,500 cutting-edge vitamin and body care products made with sustainable and ethically sourced ingredients.
Sounds like a store I would shop at. Driving by it looks about ready to open, but they are still needing to hire a whole bunch of people. More jobs is always a good thing. If you are looking for a job at Sprouts in Mill Creek, you can apply here:
